Schumann Resonance
Real, measured electromagnetic standing waves between the Earth's surface and the ionosphere, rung continuously by ~50 lightning flashes per second worldwide. Predicted by W. O. Schumann in 1952, first observed in 1960. The canonical modes below are physics; everything OMNIA says about them stays inside that physics.
The cavity
Rings breathe at rates proportional to each mode — a visualization, not a measurement.
Canonical modes
Observed peaks drift by tenths of Hz with ionosphere height and solar activity.
Live geomagnetic context — NOAA Kp index
No public machine-readable Schumann spectral feed exists (Tomsk SOS and HeartMath GCI publish images only — catalog: explore). The planetary K-index is the closest legitimately-API'd signal: global geomagnetic disturbance, 0–9.
Measured frequencies · nearest mode
Recent OMNIA audio measurements labeled by numeric proximity to a mode — a descriptive coincidence, never the phenomenon.
